This was great! It's reminding me why I fell in love with the anime so much. There is so much tension between the characters due to their complex emotions. I love that Kaname and Zero have a complicated relationship because AND despite of Yuuki. Their backgrounds are so strong, and that impacts how they interact with each other.

Yuuki is stuck in the middle, but not because of some crush, but because they're both the closest thing to family that she's ever known. Kaname is her first memory, the one who saved her life years ago and found her a home, the one who taught her things and helped her relearn the world. Zero is the one who came to her broken, the one she helped pick up the pieces in the wake of a tragedy, the one that had nothing to hold on to, but his pain and her kindness.

If you're gonna do a love triangle, DO IT LIKE THIS. One where everyone matters, one where each character is layered, and make it harder for the reader to choose. Kaname and Zero are complicated people on their own, they have a lot of pain and weight in their lives, and I think Yuuki is a light for both of them. They also have lots of difficult feelings towards one another, which shows, but they don't go on fighting to win the girl or some other petty thing. They know very well that hurting each other would hurt her, and she's is the closest thing they have to family as well.

ugh I love everyone here and I'm so happy to be with these characters again.

We start out with 6th Night: Out of Cross Academy. It's Valentine's Day at Cross Academy, and the females are going wild. In Japan it's a custom that this is the day that you confess your love to your crush. Lots of anger and hatred is born on this day every year in my opinion. Also another tradition is that you give your male friends obligation chocolate. Which is the one I can't figure out, I mean you give your friends chocolate just to put up with your s&*t all year?! In response the boys

The Day Class is unaware of Zeros secrethe is a vampire, and has been turning more and more so over the past four years. If they knew the truth, would they be so quick to embrace him as the rising star of their class? And how will the knowledge of what he is becoming affect his relationship with Yuki?Yuki and Zero get an unexpected privilegethey get to run into town on an errand for the headmaster. Normally, leaving school grounds is rather restricted. Yuki is determined to have fun, even if

Usually, I have a tough time reviewing manga because the stories are pretty consistent throughout their runs and sometimes it is hard to review a single volume without at least dredging up the storylines from the last volume. But, review I shall since I have so much to say about the second volume of Matsuri Hinos popular series, Vampire Knight! In this volume, Yuki Cross, one of the guardians of Cross Academy, realizes that her partner, Zero Kiryu is having trouble coping with being a vampire

Vampire Knight is one of the mangas that make you deeply enjoy every single icon of the page & the storyline.... No matter which one of the V.K. volumes I pick to read, I can never do it with a rush to finish it or go fastly through the story to see what happens next- no! All mangas, but in my humble opinion this one of V.K. (as well as the rset of the series) is to be enjoyed little by little, like a good red wine. Loved it ofcourse, as it has got a dark allure, a gothic-romance atmosphere

It's nice to find out more about Yuki and Zero. Their relationship is so deep, it's nice that Yuki wants to protect him. And oh apparently love is all over in the air in this volume! Not that it was not in the first one. I really like how many bonus stories there are at the end. They are all cute and funny! :)

5 starsAwesome story. Really enjoyed this manga. Plot is great and characters are awesome. Liked Yuki, Zero, and Kaname. Think starting to get the hang of manga. Watched a few of the animated episodes on Netflix. Thought was okay. What did you think of it?Can't wait to read Vampire Knight vol. 3!!!!!
