Chronicle During Books The Asfari's Reawakening
I have never read a self-published e-book before and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the writing with such wonderfully fleshed out characters in a uniquely created world. I try hard to search for the fantasy authors that I want to read and what I found while reading this was a wonderful epic tale that took me on a journey through a new world. This is EPIC. The epic scale reminds me of how felt when reading the Hobbit or Lord of the Rings as the tale starts out with a small group of characters that go to a location and a crazy event happens (whether it is an action scene or some kind of conflict) and then the group comes upon another awesome character that joins them for the next leg of the journey. With each chapter and new character you meet the story becomes more expansive and epic filled with history, politics, love and wonder. If you are looking for a fantasy novel that fills you with the joy you felt when reading LOTR then you should give this little known e-book a try. Who knows, one day you can say that you read The Asfari's Reawakening before it broke out onto the scene, because this story should be picked up by a major publisher so that it can be enjoyed by those that are yearning for a classic fantasy tale.Rating Based On Books The Asfari's Reawakening

The characters may be archetypes (the wandering warrior, the beast-master, etc.), but they are not stereotypes. The characters are all well-rounded (including the villains) and enjoyable. The story starts in the middle of the action, and holds off on backstory until it's actually needed, so we learn about the world right along with the outsider woman caught up in the fray. Highly recommended.
This book has everything I love to read! Science-Fiction? Check! Love the space planetary travel/magical summoning to a new world. Fantasy? Check! Sword wielding misplaced royalty hunk who hangs out with a burly animal speaking man with a freakin' wolfie and a hawk as companions(!) plus a moody mysterious archer who has an awesome name: Llewyllen. Which brings us to Mystery? Check!
