Write Up Based On Books Death Note: L, Change the WorLd (Death Note #Novel 2)
L: Change the WorLd is a novel by an author who uses the pen name "M." It is the novel adaptation of the third movie in the live action movie series Death Note, which is based off of the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. It will make a lot more sense if you have prior knowledge of the series (specifically of the movies, as they are notably different from the manga), though is still enjoyable if you haven't. The story is about the world's greatest detective, L, who must stop a terrorist

weird idea but it very cute. It has some very enjoyable moments. The ending was the best part.

STORY: 3/5CHARACTERS: 5/5PLOT: 5/5COVER: 6/5 (that is not a typo)Even though this is not by the same authors of the Death Note manga and is an adaption of the "L: Change The World" movie, this book stayed so close to the original feel of the Death Note world and blew me away. L's character is developed so much more than it ever was in the manga, which made me love his character even more than I already did! His growth throughout the book touched my heart and had me tearing up quite a few times,

Different than I expected, but I was not disappointed; quite the opposite, I was pleasantly surprised. This was a whole different setup from the Death Note series, the only solid connection being L himself; even the Death Note and the fact that he wrote his name it and only had a short time to live were tangential to the storyline. If people were hoping for a bigger connection to the cannon series, then I can see why so many are disappointed. Light does not even appear in the story, the details

My first light novel. This is an alternate timeline based on one of my favorite anime series and characters. The usual wit and mentally thinking several steps ahead from Death Note are present here and L is written as more of a protective character as he has someone to help in this story. The dialogue felt like it was from a manga or anime, which doesnt always translate well to novels, but it was mostly fine. Besides a plot twist at the end, it was generally predictable, but the ending was

This book was a wonderful Christmas present and it is beautiful. The cover art and sleeve make it look amazing. The story is set in an alternate universe to the main Death Note series where L survives Light's trickery. It is set after Light's death. Content-the first chapter confused me. It confused me a lot. But beyond that, it was pretty good. As a Death Note fan, I appreciated the brief appearences of good old Misa Misa and Matsuda and the references to Light and the Yagami family. Near pops

WHY IS THIS ABOUT NEAARRRRRR?Why must Near infect every Death Note spinoff (minus LA:BB)? It's just not fair I tell you! Not fair! If my love of Death Note didn't even out my absolute detest of that albino brat, I don't think I would be able to say I want to read this book with a straight face.Sigh...why do I do this to myself?
