Reread in the month of August, 2016 My sister and I are doing a buddy read, although I've zipped ahead. I can't help it. These books are so addictive to me. Great to experience Jack and Briony's story again. This book has practically nonstop action, which is great, but I also loved the interpersonal moments between Jack and Briony, Jack and his brother Ken, and with the other GhostWalkers. This is well named. There is a serious conspiracy, Whitney has decided that he wants to take the
This time around our heroine, Briony is an acrobat and she also swings back and forth between 'tough-as-nails' and 'silly broad' now that part was annoying. The brothers Jack & Ken were fine but to be honest I've read this 'brother thing' before. It's not bad it's just not new but I did like them a lot. The bad guys were evil and the chase was intense. Ken's story now please.
Jack and Briony are one of my favorite couples from this series. I loved their relationship. They worked through a lot of issues and fears but now they are a strong couple. I can't wait to see them in future books. Also I can't wait to read the next book because I love Ken and he needs his HEA.
So I've been really looking forward to this read, and I wasn't disappointed. Much. However, as always Feehan delivers a well paced story and a couple you have to love, I was left wanting a tad more.OK so why i was a tad disappointed...I think after the last one, I was expecting more of a development with the plot around Peter Whitney, thinking that the GhostWalkers would uncover some more information on him and what he's up to, but that didn't really happen. Considering how many books there is
**********Content: Sex, some cussing and profanity, violence, a few typos.**********4.5 stars. Wow!! Despite some minor bugs, this is the BEST of the GhostWalkers so far, IMO. Great blend of action-suspense and romance-relationship. It didn't have the sappy feel some of Feehan's books develop. In some high-action survival sequences, it felt almost like I was reading Linda Howard. I loved the movement in the plot, the pacing was good, there wasn't so much sex bogging it down (but there are at
Conspiracy Game is the book that, for me, changed the Ghostwalker series from an occasional library rental, to a must-own set of books. In this fourth installment, we shift gears away from our original Ghostwalker unit, to focus on one of the SEAL Ghostwalkers, Jack Norton. We met him very briefly in Night Game, but here his story is fleshed out.The book opens with Jack held prisoner in the Congo. He was taken captive during a rescue mission for his twin brother Ken. Jack has been tortured but
