This is the first Manga book I have ever read - it was fun. It is like a graphic novel. It was a fantasy book - portal book.. three little girls get pulled into a fantasy world to save the princess and therefore that whole world. they are magic knights that have to learn their magic and their capabilities by facing different foe and monsters and meeting people that will help them along the way. It was cute. the language is english, but I could tell that it was more culturally rooted japanese

I have a real fondness for this series in my heart. I read it when I was young, and other than CCS, it was the first of CLAMP I've read. I have never been the biggest fan of their art style (NOODLE PEOPLE) and was never interested in many of their series, and I honestly don't know how I got into this series. I think I just saw it at a book fair or something and gave it a try?Anyway, it's your standard epic fantasy fare. An adventure quest to save a princess in a magical world unfamiliar to them.

Solid start! Im excited to read more!
