Selah learned the hard way, life was harder then just missing a party or two. Sixteen and recovering from trauma, Selah thought the worst had past.

But there was something going on. Times when she could hear voices. Whispers. Selah was sure she was going crazy. How else could she explain what was happening. Selah's parents die when she is really young. Young enough that she barely had any time to form memories. The memories she does have are from what her older sister has told her while looking at picture. Selah's just a teenager when the books starts. Her and her sister Talia get into a huge fight and Selah takes off out of the house she's not far from her house when she is drugged and kidnapped. Read to find all the juicy details of what trauma Selah goes through. Oh and Selah and Talia are

Death, deception and live can all be lethally dangerous if improperly managedLosing the edge of her perception put one sister in place as a huge dangerLove and magic might not be enough to save them or their covenIntense paranormal and psychological drama

Selah is going through life conflicted with herself. As a witch, they are required to go through "regression", which lets them learn from past mistakes. Selah, though, sees things from her past that she was not expecting and is not sure how to handle them. The premise is very interesting, and I really enjoyed trying to figure out what was real and what was really going on. It is was very interesting to see how Selah progressed, but I wish there would have been more development and focus on the

This is a good story with fresh elements of which I was unfamiliar. For me, it was not an easy read. There were points at which I moved to other stories in order to weaken this story's grip. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the story which ends with a setup for another.Entertaining. Great world building. Haunting. Informative. Scary. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Wonderful characters.I received a copy of this book as a gift.  This is my honest review.

Jen A Durand was born in New York. Her parents were immigrants turned citizens. She was raised in South Carolina by a single mother. One of five children and a current graduate student, she currently lives in NY with her books and wine. She writes as a release. She loves to read and wants to contribute to the literary world by providing a different view point. Plus, she has a lot of school debt.*Thank you to the author for a free e-copy in exchange for an honest review!*Actual Rating: 2.5I actually had no idea that this was a spin-off when I picked this up, but the blurb drew me in, which is why I accepted it for review. Witch's Reflection follows Selah; she knows she's already different, because she's a witch. But she realizes that there's something even more out of the ordinary when she starts seeing things (memories?) that not only plant doubt in her mind, but makes her question

This is a spin off from another series by the same author carrying over a few of the characters. Selah, Talia, Bryon and Patrice are fabulous créations. The characters are endearing, beautifully constructed and developed while remaining flawed. Loved this one and couldn't put it down.
