It was captivating, and well written. I know it's a short story (and a pretty good one at that) BUT I really would have loved to have read this as a fleshed-out fully-fledged novel, or even a novella. A bleak and scary vision of a future world, full of hungry white people and cannibalistic "mud" people. Rape and death and hunger and hiding and walking and very little hope for anyone. I just wanted more!!They Must is a short story by Hewitt E. Moore the author of the novel White Guilt. In the year 2037 White Americans have officially become a minority. A race war has ensued, the worst depression in the history of the world has hit with unemployment rates over fifty percent, blacks have taken over the government and the dollar has collapsed. The remaining white populations only hope to escape genocide is to flee to Boise, Idaho(Home) where whites have set up an enclave and are still in control.

Why are racists such terrible authors? This isn't a riddle or anything, it's just that we haven't really had a good author who was a racist since Kipling.
Author of the dystopian novel "White Guilt," the apocalyptic short story "They Must," the ethnic conflict novel "Vengeance is Ours," and a plethora of essays, articles, and poetry.
