! I loved everything about this book! Matt and Kira were so fucking sweet! Both were closeted manly-men so there was a little bit of angst over the "coming-out" issues; but nothing too heavy. Also, there was a little action/mystery storyline that was a bit too predictable and lead to a very traumatic scene near the end that had me biting my nails and screaming at my Kindle! Overall, this was a sweet, sexy romance. 5 stars from me because I totally cried my eyes out in the end.Loved it enough that I turned around and read it second time. Matt's great, but Kira is badass.
This fantastic M/M book has officially turned my "top 10" book list into a "Fuck yeah 5+ stars" list. I can't keep it to 10 anymore! This one is added because I FUCKING LOVED IT! I did not want it to end. Matt and Kira were the sweetest couple, totally believable and I instantly feel in love with them. The sex scenes were hot without losing the romance and the angst was off-the-charts. The ending had me in tears of joy. There was absolutely nothing I did not like about this book. I have already
3.75 stars rounded upTo be honest, about the first 3/4 part of the book, this book is just okay for me. The main narrator (Matthew Elliott, the detective) and his boyfriend (Kira Takeo Franco, half Spanish-half Japanese and a fantastic trainer) are likeable protagonists. They sure grinned/laughed/smiled/blushed/chuckled a lot -- so I assume they have wonderful time together and have lovely conversations (though some of those conversations are not written in details, I just have to trust they
5 stars - What a great read!!!It's definitly no secret that I'm a total sucker for hot police men in my m/m romance stories and Point of No Return kept popping up in my recommendations. I was however a little relucant to read this book because of the author - which was quite unfair as I have to admit by now. Blind Faith by N.R. Walker was one of the first m/m romance stories I read and while I rated it with three stars, I wasn't really into it. But wow - Point of No Return was fabulous! There
Loved this - the story of Matt & Kira. Matt was the golden boy cop who loved his friends and partner but he kept his secret thinking he wouldn't be accepted. Then Matt meets Kira in the boxing ring at gym and his world fell apart ! After coming out of the closet, Matt realized Kira was the one for him and during a hostage siege decided to man up and tell his team. From fear and pain came a sense of peace but only on the surface. Matt clearly had unresolved issues and I can't wait for more in
Matt has been a cop for a decade and in the closet just as long, he is part of the Fab Four a team of cops in narcotics. He is afraid of losing his job and friends if he comes out, but when he meets Kira ' Frankie ' his gym's new boxing trainer he can't keep his self imposed rule of keeping private and professional life separate.Kira is in the closet as well, being a trainer at a cop's gym doesn't lend itself to being out and proud.Their relationship develops quickly but it doesn't feel rushed
