One thing that I particularly loved about this book was the originality of the paranormal beings in this story. Anyone who is a fan of coming of age stories, Norse mythology, magic, romance and suspense will get a kick out of this book. Like most debut books of a series, this book took me a few chapters to really get into it, however afterwards I couldn't put it down!
