Narration Toward Books What's Good for the Goose Is Not Good for the Panda
Patty Panda is hungry but doesn't know what to eat. All the people she meets are happy to share their food but Patty has something very important to learn before she can indulge. This delightful rhyming story, written and illustrated completely in collage by Lavender Laine, teaches children that we are all different and what's good for one is not necessarily good for someone else. It might also inspire children to make art out of old odds and ends such as left over yarn and buttons, paper cut from old magazines, fabric off-cuts, and food packaging etc, as Laine has done here, encouraging recycling and resourcefulness.Itemize Books As What's Good for the Goose Is Not Good for the Panda

A great read! This is such an adorable story about a panda who is trying to find out what to eat. I would recommend this to anyone with children who like animals. Also recommend for artistic and creative children, very inspiring collage art work, really demonstrates how to use different things to make pictures, buttons and fabric and string and maps and all sorts of things. A new classic. Fun, with a good strong message of the fundamental differences between us all, and a good feeling of sharingI really enjoyed this book, it is brilliant. I love the illustrations which are all done in collage. Each page is fun and different! Even the words are made out of collage of old magazines and stuff. It is a lovely story about a friendly panda, and the people she meets on her journey to find something to eat.A great read! This is such an adorable story about a panda who is trying to find out what to eat. Appealing mixed-media illustrations greet the reader on every page. Look closely and you'll see that the panda and her environment are made from different materials on every page, from cut scraps of wallpaper to yarn to flowers. The text is also made up of letters clipped from magazines and newspapers. Reader reaction to that choice will vary; I wasn't as big on it as I thought it made the text look like a ransom note. The story is a happy and gentle one about a panda who is hungry, but isn't
