4.5 starsA sign of a good book, for me, is still considering the ending even hours later after finishing it which is what I am still doing.Phew! I thought Ashley Parker and her team were goners... I'm glad to be proven wrong. Also, Lil's a cute kid, I just want to give the troubled youngin' a hug.I liked the series for the peculiar plot of the immune gaining their enhanced abilities, and I thought Ash as a character and Simone, actually were both really great. I found Gabriel to be incredibly arrogant and abusive AF... why Ash was attracted to the abusive arsehole I'll never know, but meh... straight people.
I love Ashley Parker and the entire series. There have already been plenty of people giving details that I'm going to refrain from wasting your time here. I think that this is a great book - there's plenty of character development, introspection and enough action and plot twists to keep the pages turning very quickly.I'm giving Plague World four stars because, although this is the last book in the series, I was left feeling that there were too many things unresolved. I hope the "world" gets
Review time: The last book of the trilogy of Ashley Parker Novels Plague World by Dana Fredsti. The mission to save Ashleys kinda-sorta boyfriend, and the crazy doctor who invented the Walkers Flu vaccine, is on. Ashleys squad has lost three of its original members, each loss an emotional cut, but theyve gained others, some that they can trust, some they cannot. The trip from San Francisco to San Diego is not only long, but rife with danger, especially to the new members of the team who are not
...Woah woah woah...Did the release date really get pushed back? *dies*
I loved the first two books of this series, but I have to take a star off because this book didn't end as much as stop. I will read however many books follow this one, but I was expecting the series to end as a trilogy. The surprise was hard to take.Dana did a great job in this book with the side characters, particularly the Harajuku girls trapped in a shop in Tokyo (it's like they were written just for me!) and the ex-Special Forces motorcycle "club." I would love to read spin-off stories about
*Warning: Spoilers*Plague World is the third book in the Ashley Parker zombie/urban fantasy series, following her fight to save the world from the zombie plague. This continues on from where Plague Nation ended, and Ashley and her band of merry-men are fighting their way across America to find Gabriel, who was taken by the bad guys. He could also hold the cure to the virus that is now spreading across the world. As usual there is quite a lot of action, but I felt as though not a lot actually
