Hot cover!! 😰😍 Rated the book 4 stars out of 5 🌌🌌🌌🌌. My favorite steamy scene was actually not between Sadey and Hem but between Sadey and Ace 😰😰😰. That front porch scene was Wow!!! 😊😳. The story itself was heart felt and an emotional rollercoaster. The twist with Hem was crazy and is what creative writing is about! I will definitely be reading the books in the series after reading this one. Note to readers: the author said you should actually read the books in order.... don't do what I did and

I still love the characters and this story but unfortunately, I didn't care for Sadey's PoV. I liked the first book much better.

The first book Holding On left me in tears and an emotional mess towards the end, therefore when The Way Home came out I was nervous and less excited in wanting to read it. Now boy did I get my perceptions of this book so wrong! Shame on me ;-) lol! This book played with my emotions and had my heart out of beat! Okay. I'm gonna just lay it out there. I liked the first book better. This one irritated me. 1) CJ, the baby of two months, was handed off throughout the whole book to other people like he was a freaking hot potato. I can ignore a lot of things in a book, but this stuck out at me. He is 2, count them 2, MONTHS. 2) The dialogue sucks ass. Again. This is the continuation of the first book, which I just reviewed. This book I thought was good in spots, and pissed me off in others. Let's start with the bad. Sadey is very distraught because Hem "died" at the end of the first book, at the hands of his stepfather. She is raising their infant son and trying to move forward.
