Narration Concering Books 7 Souls

Mary expected her seventeenth birthday to be a blowout to remember, courtesy of her best friends, fellow New York City prepsters Amy and Joon, and her doting boyfriend, Trick.
Instead, the day starts badly and gets worse. After waking up in a mortifying place with a massive, unexplainable hangover, Mary soon discovers that nobody at school is even aware that it's her birthday. As evening approaches, paranoia sets in. Mary just can't shake the feeling that someone is out to get her—and, as it turns out, she's right. Before the night is over, she's been killed in cold blood.
But murder is just the beginning of Mary's ordeal. Her soul gets trapped in a strange limbo, and she must relive the day of her death through the eyes of seven people—each of whom, she finds, had plenty of reasons to hate her. As Mary explores the mysteries of her world, discovering secrets that were hidden in plain sight while she was alive, she clings desperately to the hope that she can solve her own murder, change the past, and—just maybe—save her own life.
With its blend of suspense, horror, fantasy, and realism, 7 Souls is an adrenaline rush of a thriller.

2.5 starsWhy isnt she dead yet?I loved the idea for this story, but the execution left something to be desired. You're told from the outset that Mary dies, so I was expecting a short chapter or two run through of her last day and then she'd die early on and we'd get to the untangling the mystery through the eyes of others part of the story. Unfortunately, my expectations were way off base and this negatively affected my enjoyment. Mary doesn't die until page 179. One hundred seventy nine! That's

Mary Shayne wakes up naked in a Crate & Barrel store on the morning of her 17th birthday, unsure of last night's events and how she got there. The day worsens as she goes to school, her boyfriend breaks up with her, and nobody has acknowledged the special day. By the end of the night, gunshots are heard, and Mary's soul is floating . . . into the bodies of the seven people whom she thought loved her, but had every reason to hate her, and want her dead. I picked up this book because Random

This novel has to the most unexpected favourite that I have recently read. I always have a bit hesitation when I pick up a stand-alone book because sometimes the story is rushed to meet a 300-page conclusion and I'm always left feeling robbed but this book really made up for all those other books I have read. The definite high points of the book was that the storyline was amazing right from the beginning because I was left wondering what had just happened, like did she just get drunk and pass

First off, the cover is UGLY. I judge books by their covers all of the time. If I hadn't gone the extra mile to read the blurb, I would never have picked this book up. I'm also not a fan of the title. It's boring. It doesn't even make sense until the last fourth of the book. This is a contemporary supernatural teen, and it does not look like that from the cover. Which is sad since I liked the book. I expected Mary to die pretty close to the beginning. She's going to be inhabiting 7 souls and I

This was fast paced and fun, though you have to suspend a LOT of disbelief. Go along for the ride and it is crazy and has a few twists and turns.

I would definitely say this is amazing! It is currently 2:25am and I have stayed up to finish this book. I could not put it down and i knew there was no way i could ever sleep until I finished 7 souls so i didn't even try, i just made myself comfy and finished the book. now i must sleep so expect a longer more detailed review to come.
